Mary Van Happy Halloween DAAAMN!
Again, no batteries for my camera so I made a little spooky video showing off my Halloween costume mixed with some Musee Mecanique games. My Halloween costume wasn’t scary at all, so I tried to spook it up with some theme music.
Vintage Girl Scout Uniform and book via ebay. I’m still adding to the costume. I have a sash, but no badges. Every once and a while I look up what there is on ebay (always a lot). I had my eye on a girl scout cookie box, but I couldn’t justify spending over 20 bucks for a piece of cardboard. This book and this canteen are in my favorites on etsy. Anyway, any chance I have to wear it, I bust it out in a second flat. I’m also pretty excited that my hair goes with it perfectly.
Musee Mecanique is my favorite place in San Francisco. It’s definitely eerie with the music, and I’m sure some of those games are haunted, but really that place is so fun and romantic. I absolutely love it there.

I freaking love uniforms. I also have a vintage candy striper uniform. But my girl scout uniform is definitely more complete.
