queen of hearts

Sometimes the best outfits happen when you’re short on time and buzzed from drinking a 22 oz bottle of Hop Stoopid by yourself.  I was going out to Alex Koll‘s CD Release Party at the Punch Line and I only had 15 minutes to get ready.  I put this ensemble together and didn’t have time to edit myself.  I felt like the queen of hearts.

Awesome dirndl! It is so hard finding tops to wear this those things, the ruffles are ideal.

  4. Liina

WHOA your dirndl is amazing; is the solid color part of it green or gray? I can’t tell from my computer screen!

  5. Mary Van Note

@Liina Thanks! The dirndl is green. Green and pink! One of my favorite combos.
@Penny Totally! I’ve worn the dirndl without any tops underneath too. For when I want to be sexy-folksy! (like here: http://maryvannote.com/blog/2010/04/01/mary-van-dirndl-daaamn/)
