Nicole’s Magical Valentine’s Day Party!
I found myself bending and twisting pipe cleaners into hearts with arrows through them the Friday of Valentine’s Day weekend. I was gluing ruffled pink fabric, and twisting wire attached to red plastic hearts. Of course I was at Nicole’s house, which was the setting of the most magical and sweet Valentine’s Day Party EVER! I took the opportunity to wear an amazing 1940s coral red evening gown with the most beautiful magenta beaded neckline. The dress, the decor, the friends — everything was magical!
dress: Thunderhorse Vintage in Sacramento, CA
hat: Vintage a la Mode in San Francisco, CA
shoes: Vivienne Westwood Melissa
belt: thrifted
Some of the fashionable ladies at the party were Jennifer and Annalise of the Hummingbird Girls.
The delicious food with my delicious neckline. Am I right!?!! Love that smoked salmon.
Ashley of Fancy Fine was there and of course, there’s Nicole, the gracious hostess.
And yes, that’s a piñata. Nicole filled it with amazing things she made like umbrella shoe clips and dove earrings.
Francesca of The Snail and the Cyclops with Ashley.
My friend Nick aka DJ Real.
I gave Nick my hat to wear and told him to pose like he was a fashion blogger. This is what he did:
Heading out the door…
Party’s over : (
I hope you all had a sweet Valentine’s Day! If you didn’t, you can relive Nicole’s party through a video Ashley made!
