date night
Last night was date night with Ben. The warmer, spring-like weather got me excited to wear something light and flow-y. It seemed the perfect time to wear vintage nightwear as something to wear out at night!
It was stupid how happy I was to wear my vintage bed jacket out on the town, as opposed to just wearing it in my room when I’m on the computer in my nightie. (Sorry for the poor quality of some of these photos, when it gets dark out it’s hard to get good shots and getting a nice new camera is on my to-do list this year, for sure.)
Blinking shot! But as you can see I’m experimenting with the ol’ side-swept bang. I’m considering growing out my bangs. What do y’all think? I like my bangs, but they can be annoying to deal with since my hair isn’t naturally straight. It bothers me when my bangs aren’t straight! ARGHHH! But at the same time it’s weird to think of me not having bangs since I’ve had them for SO long.
We went to Toy Boat on Clement after getting some dinner at B Star. Toy Boat is so cute and nostalgic. They have some great Pee Wee memorabilia that kills me.

You are the coolest and look awesome. Also, your sundae looks clearly superior to his. Good taste all around.

I adore the bed jacket. I bought a silky one myself a while ago that I’m going to sew the front together and wear as a blouse. They are too pretty to keep indoors x

Your sundaes look DELICIOUS. I like the idea of wearing vintage nightwear out on the town, the items are too pretty just to stay in the bedroom. The ruffles on your dress are too sweet.

@Penny that’s such a good idea to turn a bed jacket into a blouse. Can’t wait to see you sport that.

Mary Mad! You guys are so cute! Ooh girl, bangs are so long right now. I was thinking about going “au naturel” aka growing out these bangs and just letting my hair go brown since I haven’t dyed it since Sept…but now I’m getting antsy!

That would be quite the change for you, Marie! I’m always antsy and never happy with what I got. ha ha. I’m back to doing bangs until they grow out or I cut them : )
