You haven’t seen my face around these parts in a while! Summer just isn’t as inspiring in a fashion sense because it’s too dang hot for anything too interesting. Plus it didn’t help that I tried to cut my own hair. It did not come out well, so I’ve been trying to find ways to hide it – which includes this top bun that I’m sporting here. I don’t know if I’d be keen on having my hair this way even if I didn’t have to, but hey, sometimes it’s good to push yourself into new and different territory.

Ohhh my, I believe that may the most adorable novelty print I’ve ever seen!!! I mean, lambs AND flowers?! And that neat-o collar, too! You look completely adorable, as usual. Hope your haircut grows out soon; being the queen of d.i.y. haircut disasters myself, you’ve got my sympathy

I quite like the top bun, with your bangs you look a very little bit Japanense. Well jeal of your dress!

Swoon! That dress is just too beautiful for words. I must force myself to actually get some wear out of my 1940s dresses. I am such a wimp with them and keep them in the wardrobe… xx
